Every Buccaneers fan is a Saints fan after huge win vs. Panthers
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers (8-9) find themselves in a tough spot, unable to fully celebrate despite edging out the Carolina Panthers on Saturday. After two months of disappointing football, the team’s fate now depends on the performance of another squad to keep their impressive five-year playoff streak alive.
Adding to the complexity, the Bucs and their fans must root for a divisional rival in the final week of the regular season. If the New Orleans Saints can defeat the Atlanta Falcons at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Sunday afternoon, Tampa Bay will secure a home game during Wild Card Weekend.
Led by Kellen Moore, the Saints have been scrappy, riding a four-game winning streak. The Buccaneers will be counting on their division rival to maintain that tenacity on the road as the season draws to a close.
