
Pennsylvania earns 77-65 victory against Merrimack
PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Dalton Scantlebury led Pennsylvania to a 77-65 victory over Merrimack in the Cathedral Classic on Friday, scoring 22 points. Scantlebury also made a significant impact on defense and the boards, contributing 13 rebounds and three blocks for the Quakers (4-2).
TJ Power supported the effort with 14 points, 12 rebounds, and six assists, while Ethan Roberts added 11 points, shooting 4 of 11 from the field, including 1 of 3 from beyond the arc.
For Merrimack (2-5), Kevair Kennedy led the team with 18 points. Andres Marrero chipped in 14 points and two steals, and Ernest Shelton contributed 12 points.
Up next, both teams continue play in the Cathedral Classic on Saturday. Pennsylvania will face La Salle, while Merrimack takes on Hofstra.
