FIVB Men’s World: Wake-up call fuels Italy’s return to semifinals
Italy received a tough wake-up call in Pool F when they fell to Belgium in five sets last week. This loss made them realize that defending their title in the FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship will be more challenging than expected.
Several nations are fielding vastly improved teams, raising the level of competition. With this in mind, Mattia Bottolo and the Italians have come prepared to face the intensified challenge ahead.
