UAAP: Ray Allen Torres’ dagger 3 lifts Adamson, keeps UP winless
MANILA, Philippines—Adamson University overcame a chaotic fourth quarter and relied on Ray Allen Torres to secure a thrilling 62-59 upset against the University of the Philippines.
This victory marked Adamson’s first win in the UAAP Season 88 men’s basketball tournament, achieved on Wednesday.
The game was marked by numerous questionable calls in the final quarter, which contributed to a tense 59-all deadlock in the dying seconds. Despite the challenges, Adamson managed to pull through for the win.
