EVO 2026 Announcement Show scheduled for early December 2025

As we get closer to closing out 2025, eyes are already on 2026 as far as events go, and there is a lot of interest in what happens with fighting game tournament series EVO. Thankfully, we won’t be waiting long to find out some details. The organizers behind EVO have revealed that an Announcement Show is coming that will have details about EVO Japan 2026, the 2026 EVO Awards, and even the main EVO 2026. The EVO 2026 Announcement Show was teased on the group’s social media this week. There, it was revealed that on December 9, 2025 at 5 p. m. PT / 8 p. m. ET, the group will go live with details about the aforementioned events on the EVO Twitch, YouTube, and Twitter account. In years past, we often see many of the details for the main show revealed during these broadcasts. As such, we are very likely to learn about venue changes, dates, and maybe even game lineups during this show. EVO also finds itself in an interesting position since one half of its owners were just acquired by Qiddaya Gaming, which is funded by the Saudi Arabia PIF.
