IND vs SA 2025: 5 visiting spinners with most wickets in Tests in India since 2015
South Africa stunned India by 30 runs at the iconic Eden Gardens in Kolkata in the first Test of the two-match series. In a low-scoring contest played on a rank turner, the Proteas ended up outsmarting India inside three days, thus registering their first Test win in the country since 2010. South Africa won the toss and batted first in the Test. However, they were bowled out for 159 in 55 overs. Off spinner Simon Harmer, though, led a brilliant fightback for the visitors, registering figures of 4-30 from 15. 2 overs. After the Proteas set India a target of 124, Harmer again starred with the ball. The 36-year-old claimed 4-21 in 14 overs as the hosts were bundled out for 93 in 35 overs.
