
Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition Is Out Now on Switch and Switch 2
Start Your Adventure in Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition Aspyr and Crystal Dynamics have announced that Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition is now available on both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. Priced at $19. 99, the game is also receiving a 10 percent launch discount through November 24. This release marks the first time the acclaimed 2013 Tomb Raider remaster arrives on Nintendo platforms, giving players a chance to explore Lara Croft’s origin story at home or while traveling. The Definitive Edition presents Lara’s earliest adventure with enhanced visuals, refined controls, and every piece of content released for the original game. It follows her transformation from a young traveler into a capable survivor while she navigates a dangerous island filled with environmental hazards, fast-paced combat encounters, and dramatic story moments. The world is vivid and immersive, encouraging players to adapt to the terrain, craft upgrades, and steadily build the skills needed to endure the challenges ahead. This edition also includes the full selection of downloadable content. Players gain access to several outfits for Lara, a collection of multiplayer maps, additional multiplayer characters, and digital extras such as the Dark Horse comic Tomb Raider: The Beginning, a mini art book from Brady Games, and the Final Hours of Tomb Raider developer video series. Online multiplayer for up to eight players is also supported, offering a different way to experience the game. Players who already own Aspyr’s previous Tomb Raider collections on Nintendo Switch, including Tomb Raider I-III Remastered Starring Lara Croft or Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered, receive a further 10 percent discount. These savings combine with the launch offer, allowing eligible owners to reduce the price by as much as 30 percent. Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition is available now on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 for $19. 99, with the launch discount active through November 24, 2025.
