Wicked: For Good New York Premiere: See the Celeb Red Carpet Fashion
Something Wicked this way comes. Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo, Jonathan Bailey, Michelle Yeoh, Jeff Goldblum and Ethan Slater are descending upon the New York premiere of Wicked: For Good, the follow-up to John M. Chu’s 2024 movie being released on Nov. 21. And the Nov. 17 red carpet was certainly the most popular place to be, with Constance Wu, Claire Danes, Megan Hilty and Trisha Paytas also on hand to celebrate the highly anticipated film, which centers on the second and final act of the Broadway musical it was adapted from. “I’m quite excited for people to see how far these characters have come and what the progress has been between the time you left them and where they are now,” Cynthia shared on Wicked: The Official Podcast. “It’s a big journey.” In fact, it’s a labor of love spanning nearly half a decade to make. “I feel that the time went by really quickly,” Cynthia marveled. “I blinked and we were here. So much has happened between then and now-so many wonderful things, so many wonderful experiences.” Though Wicked: For Good marks the end of the yellow brick road for Cynthia and Ariana’s respective characters Elphaba and Glinda, the costars aren’t saying goodbye for good. “I honestly don’t think that this is going to leave our lives for a very long time,” Cynthia added. “This might be stuck with us for quite some time. But it’s a wonderful thing to be stuck with.” To see all the stars at the Wicked: For Good premiere, keep reading.
