At $6.4B Ferrari tops F1 teams valuations as the lowest squad valuation crosses $1.5B
The values of the current F1 teams in 2025 have been released, and once again, Scuderia Ferrari tops the list with a staggering $6.4 billion valuation. As the highest-valued team, Ferrari’s worth far exceeds that of the lowest-ranked team, which stands at $1.68 billion.
Known as the Prancing Horse, Ferrari is the most successful team in Formula 1 history. With 16 Constructors’ Championships and 15 Drivers’ titles to their name, their status as the most expensive F1 team is well justified.
Following closely behind Ferrari is Mercedes, valued at $5.88 billion. Although Mercedes AMG F1 Team has roots dating back to the 1960s, it is considered relatively new in the modern F1 era. The German manufacturer entered Formula 1 in 2010 after rebranding the Brawn GP team. From 2014 to 2021, Mercedes dominated the post-hybrid era, winning eight consecutive Constructors’ titles and helping their drivers secure seven Drivers’ Championships.
Taking the third spot is the McLaren F1 team with a valuation of $4.73 billion. Known as the Papayas, McLaren is one of the most successful teams in the sport and has impressively risen from challenging times to regain their strong position.
Red Bull Racing, one of the top teams in recent years, ranks fourth with a net worth of $4.32 billion. Owned by the energy drink giant Red Bull, the team was established in 2005 after rebranding the Jaguar F1 team.
Aston Martin holds the fifth position with a $3 billion valuation, followed by Williams at $2.14 billion. Alpine sits at number seven with a valuation of $2.08 billion, closely trailed by Racing Point (now known as Aston Martin) at $2.05 billion, and the Stake F1 team at $1.88 billion. At the bottom of the list is Haas F1 Team with a $1.68 billion valuation.
Looking ahead, the Cadillac F1 Team will enter the sport next year and will be included in future valuation lists.

### Former F1 Driver Reveals Ferrari’s “Biggest Problem”
Juan Pablo Montoya, the former Formula 1 driver, recently revealed what he considers to be Ferrari’s “biggest problem” amid criticism from John Elkann, Ferrari’s chairperson, directed at the driver duo Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc.
Speaking to French media outlet AS, Montoya said,
*”The reason he said that is because there’s some internal pressure against him. The best way to combat it is to reflect it outward, but you have to realise at some point that the way things are being done isn’t working. The biggest problem at Ferrari is politics, a lot of politics.”*
As the most successful F1 team, Ferrari faces immense pressure to perform consistently. Elkann’s recent criticism, urging the drivers to “talk less and focus on driving,” underscores the intensity of expectations surrounding the Scuderia.
