Andy Cohen shared exciting updates on two beloved Real Housewives franchises that fans at BravoCon have been eagerly anticipating: *The Real Housewives of New York City* (RHONY) and the brand-new *Real Housewives of Rhode Island* (RHORI).

### RHONY Updates: Cast Rumors and Legacy Stars

Heading into BravoCon, rumors were swirling that *The Real Housewives of New York City* was undergoing a major cast shakeup. Speculation suggested that the upcoming season would keep some newcomers while bringing back original cast members. However, Cohen quickly put those rumors to rest. Speaking with Deadline, he said, “I don’t know where that came from.”

Despite the uncertainty, Cohen teased that an official announcement about RHONY is imminent. “We’re close,” he revealed, building anticipation among fans.

At BravoCon, a mix of RHONY’s current and original cast members were in attendance. Newer faces like Erin Lichy, Jessel Taank, and Sai De Silva mingled alongside OGs Sonja Morgan, Dorinda Medley, and Luann de Lesseps. When asked about working with RHONY’s legendary cast, Cohen shared, “I think we’ll always be in business with the OGs from RHONY. I think you see Luann pop up on a lot of shows. Dorinda has a show on Radio Andy. They’re always going to be part of the Bravo family.”

Indeed, the legacy Housewives continue to stay busy: Dorinda Medley is a cast member on *The Traitors* Season 4, while Luann de Lesseps recently appeared on Bravo’s *Love Hotel*.

### The Real Housewives of Rhode Island: A New Chapter

Earlier this year, Bravo officially announced the expansion of the Real Housewives franchise with *The Real Housewives of Rhode Island*. While the cast for RHORI was expected to be unveiled during BravoCon in Las Vegas, Cohen offered fans a tantalizing glimpse of what to expect.

“It’s interesting that it’s one of the smallest states and it kind of feels like this insular community where everybody knows each other [and] you can’t get away with anything,” Cohen described of the setting. “It is the perfect spot for a Housewives. Plus it’s also so beautiful, it’s aspirational. It’s the Ocean State, it’s teeny. And the women are outrageously fun and great for TV.”

With such a unique backdrop and captivating personalities, RHORI looks poised to be a fresh and exciting addition to the Real Housewives family.
