Russia’s Actions Risk Direct Confrontation with NATO, Britain Warns at UNSC
Britain has warned that Russia’s recent actions risk a direct confrontation with NATO. Speaking at the United Nations Security Council (UNSC), British representatives emphasized the escalating tensions in the region.
Meanwhile, the United States envoy to the UN, Michael Waltz, reaffirmed the commitment of the US and its allies, stating, “The United States and our allies will defend every inch of NATO territory.”
In related developments on the ground, local officials took photos inside a school building in the town of Foros, Crimea, which was damaged yesterday. Local authorities reported that the damage resulted from a Ukrainian drone attack amid the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict.
