Diane Krueger-Led ‘Little Disasters’ Sets Up Psychological Thriller With Chaotic Trailer
Chaos and drama abound in the first trailer for the Paramount+ series *Little Disasters*, starring Diane Kruger as Jess Carrisford. The limited series premieres on December 11, exclusively on Paramount+ in the U.S., Canada, GSA, Italy, and Latin America.
*Little Disasters* is a six-part psychological thriller adapted from the Sarah Vaughan novel of the same name by Ruth Fowler and Amanda Duke. The story centers on a decade-long friendship among four expectant mothers—Jess (Diane Kruger), Liz (Jo Joyner), Charlotte (Shelley Conn), and Mel (Emily Taaffe). Although initially thrown together with little in common apart from their due dates, they support one another throughout motherhood.
The drama unfolds when perfect stay-at-home mother Jess takes her baby daughter to the hospital with a mysterious head injury. Liz, her close friend and the on-duty ER doctor, faces an excruciating decision: whether to call social services. That one phone call sets in motion a chain of events that ripples through—and nearly destroys—not only their families but their entire friendship group.
The series also stars JJ Feild, Ben Bailey Smith, Patrick Baladi, and Stephen Campbell Moore. Executive producers include Ash Atalla, Alex Smith, and Marianna Abbotts for Roughcut Television, alongside Sarah Vaughan. Simon Judd executive produces for Fremantle, with Eva Sigurðardóttir directing and Myf Hopkins producing.
Watch the trailer above and prepare for a gripping exploration of friendship, motherhood, and the secrets that can fracture even the closest bonds.
