Man Named Jihad Allegedly Crashes Turning Point USA Event, Kicks Off Brawl
A man identified as Jihad Dphrepaulezz has been charged with assault and robbery after allegedly attacking a Turning Point USA attendee during a protest at the University of California-Berkeley.
Left-wing protesters disrupted Turning Point USA’s Berkeley event on Monday, leading to violent clashes and arrests just two months after the assassination of the group’s founder, Charlie Kirk. Authorities said Dphrepaulezz, 25, confronted a supporter at the event and forcibly removed a gold chain from his neck. The incident sparked a fight that left both men bloodied, the New York Post reported.
Dphrepaulezz is reportedly an employee of the California Department of Public Health. He is also known as a rapper under the name A. R. The Believer and is a member of the Lighthouse Mosque in Oakland.
During the altercation, it was reported that Dphrepaulezz tried to conceal his identity after his mask was removed. Officers later determined that he initiated the confrontation, which led to his arrest.
