1965 Ford Mustang Coupe A-Code 289
This 1965 Ford Mustang is an A-code 289 coupe with a rich history and careful restoration. Owned by a single family from the early 1990s through the late 2010s, the car underwent a professional restoration commissioned through Kansas Klassics in Wichita.
Following the restoration, the Mustang was driven approximately 1,000 miles and showcased at various events. After changing ownership, the car was unfortunately involved in a flood and subsequently written off by an insurance company.
The selling dealer later purchased the vehicle post-flood and performed extensive maintenance to return it to good condition. This included fluid changes, removal and cleaning of the carpeting, replacement of the underlayment and starter, brake adjustments, and a thorough detailing.
Finished in an elegant Silver Smoke Gray, the Mustang features a luxurious blue and white interior. It is powered by an A-code 289 cubic inch V8 engine paired with a three-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. Additional features include front bucket seats, Rally-Pac instruments, a retro-style radio, and air conditioning, enhancing both comfort and style.
This classic Mustang is now being offered with a car cover and comes with transferable New York registration, making it ready for its next chapter.
