Demi Moore and Emma Heming Willis join forces to honor Bruce Willis
**Emma Heming Willis and Demi Moore Unite to Celebrate Bruce Willis at Soho Sessions Benefit Concert**
“Welcome to the party, pal!” Both Emma Heming Willis, wife of Bruce Willis, and Demi Moore, the actor’s ex-wife, joined forces on Wednesday night in lower Manhattan to celebrate the iconic star.
The Soho Sessions hosted an intimate evening featuring performances by legendary musicians Keith Richards, Mavis Staples, Norah Jones, and Warren Hayes. The event aimed to raise awareness for The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration (AFTD), a cause close to the Willis family’s heart.
Bruce Willis, 70, retired from acting in March 2022 and was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia in 2023. He and Emma, 47, who married in 2009, share two daughters: Mabel, 13, and Evelyn, 11. Bruce and Demi Moore, 62, who were married from 1987 to 2000, share three daughters: Rumer, 37, Scout, 34, and Tallulah, 31.
The two women maintain a close relationship and have jointly released statements about Bruce’s condition alongside their daughters.
Emma opened the evening by addressing the packed crowd, saying, “I obviously wished Bruce could be here, but he’s here in spirit.” She recounted how Soho Sessions founders Nicole Rechter and Greg Williamson approached her with the idea for the concert, to which she enthusiastically replied, “F-k yeah! Can we please have some fun?”
She added, “As Bruce would say, ‘Live it up.’ Let’s all continue to live it up and have fun,” before thanking AFTD for their support and dedication to her family.
Keith Richards performed three songs, including the Chuck Berry classic “Run Rudolph Run.” He shared with the audience that he and Bruce, known for his role in “Moonlighting,” became friends while neighbors in Turks and Caicos.
The cozy event attracted several other celebrities, including Michael J. Fox, Tracy Pollan, Jeff Ross, Steve Guttenberg, Steve Schirripa, Samantha Ronson (who attended with Demi Moore), Andrew McCarthy, and Jillian Martin.
Also in attendance were Richards’ wife, Patti Hansen, and their daughters, Theodora and Alexandra. Richards’ longtime manager, Jane Rose, was seen enjoying the performance as well.
Among the notable guests were Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick, who sat next to Whoopi Goldberg. A Page Six insider revealed that Sedgwick joked about choosing a terrible time to use the bathroom, as Keith Richards was about to take the stage.
The evening was a heartfelt tribute to Bruce Willis, blending star-studded performances with a powerful message about frontotemporal dementia and the importance of support and awareness.
