Longview Subvarsity Football
**Junior Varsity: Longview 25, Royse City 22**
Ian Duncan and Jeremiah Livas connected twice on touchdown passes as the Longview Lobo JV edged Royse City, 25-22. Duncan threw touchdown strikes of 34 and 35 yards to Livas. Additionally, Blake Perry and JaKelvin Muckleroy each scored on 9-yard runs for the Lobos. Alex Monsivais contributed with one extra point.
**Ninth Grade A: Longview 55, Royse City 26**
The Longview Ninth Grade A team earned a convincing 55-26 win over Royse City. JaKeilyn Barkins made a significant impact by scoring on a 60-yard punt return and a 30-yard touchdown reception. Zycharionne Vaughn added two long touchdown runs of 55 and 65 yards. Quarterback Austin Hill tossed touchdown passes to Barkins, Quay Carter (25 yards), and Esparza Maddox (20 yards) and also scored on a 1-yard run.
Addison McGee contributed a 51-yard touchdown run, while Javier Alba successfully kicked seven extra points. On defense, Markus Sheridan recovered a fumble, helping the Lobos secure the victory.
**Ninth Grade B: Longview 52, Royse City 7**
The Lobo Ninth Grade B team dominated Royse City 52-7, scoring on offense, defense, and special teams. Jamauri Harris electrified the crowd with an 80-yard kickoff return for a touchdown and caught two touchdown passes of 19 and 33 yards from quarterback Jacob Allen.
Defensively, Javion Blanton and Xaedyn Gordon each returned interceptions for touchdowns, covering 38 and 20 yards respectively. Jadarius Richardson scored on an 11-yard run and added a 2-point conversion, while Logan Biddle broke free for a 70-yard touchdown run. Caleb Orban successfully completed a 2-point conversion, and Kentrel Robert contributed with an interception on defense.
