Silent Hill’s Pyramid Head & Castlevania’s Dracula join Dead by Daylight’s 2v8 roster

Dead by Daylight has introduced an exciting twist to its gameplay with the relatively new 2v8 mode, where two killers go head-to-head against eight survivors. This mode is now getting a boost with the addition of fan-favorite characters Pyramid Head from *Silent Hill* and Dracula from *Castlevania*, adding even more fun to the experience.

Behavior Interactive recently shared details about the inclusion of Dracula and Pyramid Head in 2v8 through a new trailer. This special event will run temporarily from now until November 20, 2025. After that date, the 2v8 mode will be taken offline for the time being.

Both Pyramid Head and Dracula are not new to Dead by Daylight’s roster—they have already been part of the regular game as DLC characters. Pyramid Head arrived in 2020 as part of the *Silent Hill* collaboration, which also introduced Heather Mason to the survivors’ side. Dracula made his debut alongside Trevor Belmont during the *Castlevania* collaboration.

Each character brings a unique playstyle to the 2v8 mode. Pyramid Head offers a tactical control style, setting traps with barbed wire and teleporting caught players to coffin cages scattered across the map. Dracula, on the other hand, plays a more aggressive role, using his various supernatural forms and magic to relentlessly chase and hunt survivors.
