Silent Hill’s Pyramid Head & Castlevania’s Dracula join Dead by Daylight’s 2v8 roster

Dead by Daylight has recently enhanced its gameplay formula with the introduction of the 2v8 mode, a thrilling twist that pits two killers against eight survivors. This innovative mode is getting even more exciting with the addition of new characters to the roster, promising to elevate the fun factor for players.

From now until November 20, 2025, players can enjoy playing as Pyramid Head from Silent Hill and Dracula from Castlevania in the 2v8 mode. Behaviour Interactive unveiled the details of their inclusion in a new trailer this week, highlighting the limited-time event that features these iconic killers. After November 20, the 2v8 mode will be temporarily taken offline once again.

Both Pyramid Head and Dracula have been part of Dead by Daylight’s regular game lineup as DLC characters prior to this event. Pyramid Head was introduced in 2020 during the Silent Hill collaboration, which also brought survivor Heather Mason into the game. Dracula arrived alongside Trevor Belmont as part of the Castlevania collaboration.

Each killer brings a unique playstyle to the 2v8 mode. Pyramid Head employs a control-based approach, setting barbed wire traps and teleporting caught survivors to coffin cages scattered across the map. On the other hand, Dracula takes on a more aggressive role, utilizing his multiple forms and magic abilities to relentlessly chase and hunt down survivors.

This temporary event offers fans a fresh way to experience two of Dead by Daylight’s most iconic killers in a fast-paced, action-packed multiplayer setting. Don’t miss your chance to jump into 2v8 mode and test your skills as or against Pyramid Head and Dracula before the event concludes.
