Patriots-Buccaneers injury report: Kayshon Boutte sits again, Rhamondre Stevenson likely out
Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson and wide receiver Kayshon Boutte did not participate in practice for the second consecutive day on Thursday, casting serious doubt over their availability for Sunday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Stevenson has now missed five straight practices, while Boutte has been sidelined since sustaining a hamstring injury last Sunday against Atlanta.
In addition to these absences, the Patriots were also without starting inside linebacker Christian Elliss during Thursday’s practice. On a more positive note, veteran center Garrett Bradbury and defensive tackle Joshua Farmer were able to return to limited participation.
**Patriots Practice Report (Thursday):**
– Did Not Participate: WR Kayshon Boutte (Hamstring), RB Rhamondre Stevenson (Toe), LB Christian Elliss (Hip)
– Limited Participation: C Garrett Bradbury (Hip), DL Joshua Farmer (Ankle), LB Marte Mapu (Neck)
Meanwhile, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers also faced injury concerns during Thursday’s practice. Veteran receiver Chris Godwin and starting running back Bucky Irving missed practice once again, making their participation on Sunday highly unlikely. Linebackers Haason Reddick and Markees Watts were limited in practice, while a few players—including offensive tackle Luke Goedeke and offensive guard Ben Bredeson—were also limited but expected to be closer to full health.

– Full Participation: LB Lavonte David (Knee/Rib), OG Luke Haggard (Shoulder), QB Baker Mayfield (Knee/Oblique), CB Zyon McCollum (Thumb), CB Jacob Parrish (Oblique)
Both teams will be monitoring these players closely as they prepare for the matchup on Sunday. Updates on player availability are expected as the week progresses.
