**About 200 High School Students Protest U.S. Immigration Policies in Venice, Los Angeles**
VENICE, LOS ANGELES (CNS) — Approximately 200 high school students staged a protest in Venice on Tuesday afternoon against U.S. illegal immigration enforcement policies.
The demonstration began around 12:35 p.m., according to the Los Angeles Police Department. Officers from the LAPD’s Pacific station were present to monitor the march and ensure the safety of the protesters. As of one hour into the protest, no arrests had been reported.
At the last update, the group was gathered near the intersection of Venice Boulevard and Beethoven Street, close to the high school located at 13000 Venice Blvd.
