Crypto.com is Expanding into Prediction Markets Busine
The post **Crypto.com is Expanding into Prediction Markets Business** appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com.
Last week marked a significant milestone in the prediction markets space, as Kalshi overtook rival Polymarket in monthly volume for the first time—reporting roughly $4.3 to $4.4 billion in notional volume for the month. Polymarket also achieved record activity in October, with monthly volume rebounding to about $3.0 billion and monthly active traders climbing to a new high of approximately 477,850.
This burgeoning billion-dollar business opportunity appears to be driving crypto exchanges to venture into prediction markets. In a recent move, Crypto.com announced the launch of three prediction markets platforms, ranging from integration with Trump Media’s Truth Social to a partnership with a Hollywood platform for an entertainment prediction market.
In its latest update, Crypto.com revealed another prediction market partnership with a gaming platform called MyPrize. This offering will be operated by Crypto.com’s Derivatives North America (CDNA), a CFTC-registered exchange and clearinghouse affiliated with Crypto.com. This affiliation ensures that contracts will be offered within an established U.S. regulatory framework rather than through unregulated offshore platforms.
### Crypto.com’s Entry into the Prediction Markets Space
Crypto.com is leveraging its CFTC-registered affiliate, CDNA, to provide centrally cleared, regulated event contracts as a white-label and embedded service to partner platforms such as Truth Social, Hollywood.com, and MyPrize.
– **Truth Social:** Crypto.com is a key partner in the prediction-market initiative tied to Truth Social, the platform operated by Trump Media. Last month, Truth Social unveiled plans for “Truth Predict,” a new prediction market product.
– **Hollywood.com:** Crypto.com is powering an entertainment-focused prediction market that enables fans to trade contracts on movies, TV shows, box-office outcomes, and awards.
– **MyPrize:** The social gaming platform MyPrize is collaborating with Crypto.com to launch “MyPrize Markets,” which will embed prediction markets covering sports, crypto, politics, and more into its platform.
These partners will manage the customer front-ends and distribution channels, while Crypto.com’s CDNA handles the contracts, matching and clearing, custody, and regulatory compliance.
Notably, CDNA is a CFTC-registered Designated Contract Market (DCM) and Derivatives Clearing Organization (DCO), underscoring Crypto.com’s commitment to operating within a fully regulated framework.
Crypto.com’s expansion into prediction markets reflects the growing interest and demand for regulated, transparent, and innovative event-based trading platforms in the crypto space. With diverse strategic partnerships in politics, entertainment, and gaming, Crypto.com is positioning itself as a major player in the rapidly evolving prediction markets industry.
