Conservatives must choose between Charlie Kirk and Tucker Carlson
**We Should Not Unite with Right-Wing Antisemites**
Nick Fuentes is a Nazi. He has openly expressed admiration for Adolf Hitler and has denied both the Holocaust and the October 7, 2023, Hamas terrorist attacks against Israel. Despite this, Tucker Carlson brought Fuentes onto his podcast for a friendly interview, allowing Carlson to continue his obsessive campaign against Israel—a cause that appears to be one of Carlson’s few remaining guiding principles.
This interview stood in stark contrast to Carlson’s more combative conversation with Senator Ted Cruz. While Fuentes and Charlie Kirk represented opposing sides of this debate, both men made their positions abundantly clear. Kirk firmly stated that he “does not align with Jew-haters” when confronted by a Fuentes-supporting student. “I’m not going to put up with Jew-hatred in the conservative movement. I’m not going to put up with that in any way, shape, or form,” he declared.
Fuentes, in response, disparaged Kirk relentlessly, calling him “just some retarded idiot” in the grand scheme of things. He repeatedly labeled Kirk a “b****,” a fake Christian, and claimed that he hates America.
During the podcast, Carlson also expressed his disdain for “Christian Zionists” and Christians who support Israel—a category that includes Kirk. This choice of guests demonstrates where Carlson’s loyalties lie.
Meanwhile, figures like Ted Cruz and others identified as “Christian Zionists” have publicly responded to Carlson’s calls, emphasizing their support for Israel.
Carlson has clearly chosen his side. Fuentes is not the first Nazi or Nazi-sympathizing guest Carlson has featured on his show. Some commentators, like Roberts, are also choosing sides by calling for debate while shielding Carlson and his Nazi guests from criticism, unfairly labeling anyone who voices opposition as “venomous.”
When you read Fuentes’s quotes about Kirk, ask yourself: which side is truly “sowing division” here? It is essential to recognize the dangers of aligning with right-wing antisemites and to stand firmly against hate in all its forms.
