Becky Lynch isn’t intimidating, according to WWE veteran; mocks her backstage promo on RAW (Exclusive)

Former WWE head writer Vince Russo recently shared his thoughts on Becky Lynch’s recent backstage confrontation with Paul Heyman. In the segment, “The Man” caught up with Heyman following last week’s shocking betrayal of Seth Rollins by Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, and The Oracle.

Heyman insisted that it was not his idea to turn on Rollins. However, Becky wasn’t convinced by his explanation. She warned that Seth would return soon and take care of anyone who crossed him. Becky even revealed that Rollins had expected Paul to turn on him but was surprised that it took as long as it did.

On the latest episode of *Legion of RAW*, Russo explained the creative direction WWE was aiming for — portraying Becky as a devoted wife taking care of her injured husband. Despite the intention, Russo admitted he couldn’t take the promo seriously this week. He felt that Becky’s physical stature made it difficult to see her as a serious threat.

The veteran writer expressed his skepticism about the segment’s believability and the lack of an impactful reaction from fans. He said,

> “They’re trying to tell a story of everything Becky is going through and now Seth is out. Bro, you can’t look at Becky Lynch and think she’s a bada*s. She’s 90 freaking lbs. Let’s take a stroll down memory lane. When Moolah came out and beat somebody up, you believed it. Becky Lynch is 95 lbs. So when you put her in this kind of a spot, it’s not believable, bro. You’re not getting a reaction that they think you’re getting, man.”

Despite this, Becky Lynch continued to showcase her dominance this week by defending the Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Maxxine Dupri. The match concluded in a disqualification when Lynch smashed Dupri with the title belt, handing her opponent the victory.
