‘No Kings’ Protesters Can’t Name One Reason Why They’re Protesting Trump
“No Kings” protesters were unable to name a clear reason for their demonstrations against President Donald Trump during nationwide protests on Saturday.
Organizers of the protests claimed that 7 million anti-Trump demonstrators turned out in major U.S. cities to reject what they call “authoritarianism” and to “affirm” that the nation does not belong to kings. However, many protesters struggled to provide a specific reason for their opposition to Trump.
One woman, when asked about the “main reason” for protesting Trump, fell silent as she tried to explain.
When a reporter asked, “Why are you protesting?”, the response was unclear.
