### How to Play NYT Connections
To play Connections, you need to look for four words that share something in common. Tap or click to select those four words, then select “submit” to see if your guess is correct. You can only make up to four mistakes per game.
Each day, there are four groups to discover. The first group is usually the easiest, and the difficulty increases with each subsequent group.
When you’re attempting to solve the daily puzzle, it’s a good idea to first skim through all the available words. See if any two or three jump out at you as having something in common. Then, go back and try to find the third and fourth word that fits the same category.
There is one puzzle per day, which resets at midnight local time!
After completing the day’s puzzle, you can view your results along with a countdown timer showing when the next puzzle will be available.
