Community Halloween Fun at Leeds Community Church
The Leeds Community Church, located at 123 Church Hill Road, invites everyone to join them on Saturday, October 25, from 3 to 6 p.m. for an afternoon filled with family fun. The event will feature decorated trunks, snacks, engaging activities, and many more festivities in the gym. All children are welcome to participate!
Community members and small local businesses are encouraged to host a trunk or table to pass out candy. Additionally, donations of candy, toys, crafts, and Halloween trinkets are greatly appreciated to make the event extra sweet for the trick-or-treaters.
If you would like to participate or donate, please contact the church at 524-5444 or email [email protected]. Ask for Ami Merrick. Your support is vital in making this event a success.
There are plenty of fun ways to celebrate Halloween planned for children in Sun Spots Land. A big thank you goes out to all the folks who make these events happen!

Support Needed for Bolster Heights Christmas Celebration
As fall rolls in, we Mainers enjoy the last weeks of warmth before winter takes over. The coming months are filled with family, joy, and excitement as we approach the Giving Season, and Bolster Heights is no exception.
We are grateful for the continuous generous support from the community and families to ensure our residents have a wonderful holiday. We rely on the kindness and generosity of local businesses and residents’ families for donations of goods and services to support our Christmas celebrations.
Each year, these contributions have truly made a positive difference in the holiday season for our residents. Many of us can recall holiday seasons that were less than jolly, and your donations bring much-needed joy to their lives.
If you are willing to donate to our Christmas celebration this year, please contact:
- Stacey Gagnon, Activities Director
- Bolster Heights Residential Care Facility
- 26 Bolster St., Auburn, ME 04210
- Phone: 784-1364
We wish you a happy autumn and a joyful holiday season.
We appreciate all that you do for the residents. Sun Spotters, here’s another opportunity to give unto others. This is your reminder that every year Bolster Heights makes this request, and you always come through. Please encourage your friends and family to participate as well!
