World is aware of nexus between terrorists, Pakistani State and military: MEA
India Condemns Pakistan’s Support for Terror Groups Amidst Rising Tensions
India on Friday once again condemned Pakistan for its ongoing support of terrorist groups, asserting that the global community is fully aware of the deep-rooted nexus between the Pakistani state, its military, and terror outfits operating from its soil, according to a report by IANS.
Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal, addressing a weekly media briefing, stated, “On the issue of terrorism, we have been unequivocal. The world recognises the nexus between terrorists and the Pakistani state and military. Recent statements only make this reality more apparent.”
Jaiswal’s remarks came in response to a viral video showing Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) commander Masood Ilyas Kashmiri admitting to substantial losses suffered following the Indian Armed Forces’ Operation Sindoor. This operation targeted terror infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
In the video, Kashmiri, surrounded by armed militants, revealed that the family of Masood Azhar, including women and children, were killed in Bahawalpur—considered a JeM stronghold—during the Indian air strikes, as reported by IANS.
The Indian retaliatory operation followed the Pahalgam terror attack, which claimed the lives of 26 civilians and security personnel. In response, India struck multiple terror sites linked to JeM and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), including known locations in Bahawalpur, Muridke, and Kotli.
