PVL: Akari finally solves Creamline puzzle
DASMARIÑAS, Cavite — Akari secured its first-ever franchise win over defending champion Creamline in a thrilling match during the PVL Reinforced Conference on Saturday night at Dasmariñas Arena. The final scores were 23-25, 25-23, 30-28, 23-25, 15-12.
A key factor in Akari’s victory was Annie Mitchem, who made a delayed debut due to an International Transfer Certificates dispute. Mitchem delivered an outstanding performance, pounding 33 kills and adding one block to help seal the win for her team.
