Jaiswal has equaled Graeme Smith’s record for the most Test centuries (7) by an opening batter before the age of 24. No other opening batter has even reached six Test hundreds by this age.

This innings also marked Jaiswal’s fifth 150-plus score in Tests, including two double centuries. Only Don Bradman has recorded more (8) before turning 23.
