Other greats with seven centuries at this age include Javed Miandad, Graeme Smith, Alastair Cook, and Kane Williamson. Since Jaiswal’s Test debut in July 2023, no other opener has scored as many as five Test hundreds.

### Matching Graeme Smith’s Elite Record

Jaiswal has equaled Graeme Smith’s record for the most Test centuries (7) by an opening batter before the age of 24. No other opening batter has even reached six Test hundreds by this age.

### More Milestones for Jaiswal

This innings also marked Jaiswal’s fifth 150-plus score in Tests, including two double centuries. Only Don Bradman has recorded more (8) before turning 23. Additionally, this was Jaiswal’s second instance of scoring 150+ runs on the opening day of a Test match played in India. Virat Kohli is the only other Indian batter to have achieved this feat more than once (2 times) on Day 1 of a Test on Indian soil.

### First-Class Cricket Achievements

During his stay at the crease, Jaiswal also surpassed the 4,500-run milestone in First-Class cricket, now accumulating 4,512 runs in his 46th red-ball game. Notably, he maintains an excellent average of around 55 in First-Class cricket, with a tally that includes 16 centuries and 16 fifties.
