PBA: Rey Nambatac returns, Kevin Ferrer solid in TNT opening win

RODRIGUEZ, Rizal—TNT’s banged-up players from last season and its newcomers played major roles in defeating Phoenix, 93-78, to open its PBA Philippine Cup campaign on a bright note on Friday at Ynares Center II here.

Rey Nambatac fired 22 points, while Kevin Ferrer was among those who sparked the Tropang 5G’s firm grip of the game.
