In memoriam: Oscar Reyes, a visionary and prudent leader
MANILA, Philippines – Oscar Reyes, a veteran in the Philippine power sector who led the growth of major firms, has passed away at the age of 79.
The local energy sector is mourning the loss of Reyes, whose decades-long service played a significant role in shaping the growth of the market.
The country’s biggest power distributor, Manila Electric Co. (Meralco), has highlighted his contributions, acknowledging the lasting impact he made on the industry.
