‘Rotten Chicken, Filthy Kitchen’: Shocking Allegations Against KFC Outlet In Bengaluru – VIDEO
**Shocking Food Safety Allegations Surface Against KFC Outlet in Bengaluru’s HSR Layout**
Bengaluru: KFC lovers, brace yourselves as shocking allegations have emerged against a popular KFC outlet in HSR Layout, Bengaluru, raising serious concerns about food safety and hygiene practices at the fast-food chain.
A page on X, “Karnataka Portfolio,” recently shared the harrowing experience of a female customer who encountered “unbearable stench and visibly rotten meat” in a Hot & Spicy Chicken Zinger Burger she ordered. According to the detailed post, the burger patty was described as slimy, spoiled, and completely inedible.
When the woman reported the issue to the outlet staff and requested a replacement, she was reportedly served another burger in a similarly poor condition, with the same foul odor and spoiled meat. Instead of addressing her concerns, the staff allegedly dismissed her complaint, claiming “it’s just the sauce smell.”
To make matters worse, rather than offering a proper chicken replacement, the staff attempted to provide her with a vegetarian burger. The experience became even more alarming when the woman noticed other families, including small children, consuming similarly spoiled food at the outlet.
Another customer reportedly requested a fresh patty only to be served another rotten piece. When concerned customers asked to inspect the kitchen—a right they are entitled to—the staff gave a series of excuses, stating that the manager was unavailable and that customers were not allowed entry after 10 PM.
### Dirty and Unhygienic Kitchen Conditions
After customer pressure, the kitchen was finally opened for inspection. The findings were highly disturbing. According to the page, the kitchen was dirty and unhygienic. The water used for breading the chicken was reportedly dirty and contaminated.
A video shared by “Karnataka Portfolio” showed that the cooking oil was blackened from repeated use. The cold storage area allegedly contained foul-smelling meat, moldy sheets, rust, and visible filth. The floor was covered with stains and spit marks, painting a grim picture of the hygiene standards.
### Kitchen Locked by Staff After Police Arrival
The allegations extended to claims that when police arrived at the outlet following the complaint, staff locked the kitchen for around half an hour but continued to fulfill Swiggy and Zomato orders during this period. Nearly 30–40 deliveries were reportedly dispatched using the same spoiled ingredients.
### Management’s Response to Confrontation
The post further states that when customers confronted the management and police questioned the staff, the store manager admitted that he wouldn’t serve such food to his own family. However, he continued to insist that the food “meets our standards.”
### Similar Incident Reported Earlier
This is not an isolated incident. Earlier in July, an Instagram user “bano.fitindia” shared an alleged video showing an undercooked chicken burger from KFC Bengaluru, highlighting ongoing concerns about food quality at the outlet.

The shocking allegations raise urgent questions about the hygiene and quality controls at this KFC outlet and underline the importance of strict food safety measures in fast-food chains to ensure customer health and trust.
