Colombia has introduced a new rifle, named the ‘Miranda,’ which is set to replace the Israeli-made Galil rifle currently in use. Impressively, the Miranda rifle is composed of 85% nationally manufactured components. The goal is to achieve full domestic manufacturing capabilities within the next few years, bolstering Colombia’s self-reliance in defense equipment production.
