Ex-NBA star Montrezl Harrell axed by Adelaide 36ers over drugs
Former NBA star Montrezl Harrell has had his contract terminated by the Adelaide 36ers following a failed doping test in China earlier this year.
The Australian club announced the decision on Thursday, stating they had “no option” but to part ways with the American power forward.
Harrell, who was originally drafted by the Houston Rockets, made his name with the Los Angeles Lakers before moving on to other teams in his professional basketball career.
