**‘Lokah Chapter 2’ Announced; Tovino Thomas and Dulquer Salmaan Share Charming First Promo**

The much-anticipated sequel to the blockbuster Malayalam film *Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra* has officially been announced. Production company Wayfarer Films revealed the news on Saturday, sharing a special promo video featuring the popular actors Tovino Thomas and Dulquer Salmaan.
### First Look at the Sequel
In the upcoming installment, Tovino Thomas returns as Michael, a mischievous goblin (chathan) known for his playful antics. The newly released teaser video, running 2 minutes and 55 seconds, gives fans a glimpse into the dynamic between Michael and Charlie, played by Dulquer Salmaan.
The video opens with the two characters meeting at a safehouse and engaging in a humorous exchange revolving around their drinking habits. Michael humorously admits that chathans, like him, are famous for their love of alcohol. The teaser also hints at the release of Michael’s violent brother, setting the tone for more thrilling developments in the sequel.
### A Blockbuster Foundation
*Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra* was a massive hit and remains the highest-grossing Malayalam film to date. The first chapter starred Kalyani Priyadarshan as Neeli/Chandra, with Naslen and Sandy playing the roles of Sunny and Nachiyappa respectively.
The sequel promises to pick up exactly where the first film left off, continuing the intriguing storylines and expanding the universe. Although the official release date for *Lokah Chapter 2* has yet to be announced, anticipation among fans is already sky-high.
### Expanding the Universe
In the original film, Tovino Thomas portrayed Michael, a trickster deity and goblin-like figure. This time, he is expected to take on multiple roles, adding further layers to the character.
The first film also featured memorable cameo appearances by Dulquer Salmaan, Anna Ben, Ahaana Krishna, Soubin Shahir, Vijay Menon, Sunny Wayne, and Balu Varghese. Directed by Dominic Arun and produced by Dulquer Salmaan under Wayfarer Films, the franchise has garnered critical acclaim and a loyal fan base.
