4.0L-Powered 2009 Porsche 911 Carrera S Coupe 6-Speed at No Reserve
This 2009 Porsche 911 Carrera S coupe was purchased by the seller in 2022. Under the current ownership, the car has undergone several modifications, including a rebuild of the 9A1 flat-six engine to increase displacement to 4.0 liters. Additional upgrades include the installation of an aFe Power Magnum Force Stage-2 cold-air intake system, 19″ Champion RG5B alloy wheels, Eibach lowering springs, Bilstein dampers, an aftermarket front bumper, carbon-fiber rear spoilers, and tinted taillights.
Finished in black with matching leather upholstery, this 997.2 C2S coupe features a six-speed manual transmission and a mechanically locking rear differential. The Sport Chrono Package Plus is included, along with bi-xenon headlights, a power sunroof, red seatbelts, heated and powered front sport seats, a Bose sound system, a remote six-disc CD changer, automatic climate control, and Porsche Communication Management with navigation.
Currently showing approximately 65,000 miles on the odometer, about 14,000 of which were added during the seller’s ownership, the car is offered in Georgia with a salvage-branded South Dakota title. The sale includes the removed rear bumper and a set of stock taillights.
The exterior has been personalized with a ducktail-style carbon-fiber decklid and a fixed carbon-fiber rear wing. Other exterior details include body-color front corner markers, tinted taillights, and tinted windows. The rear bumper cover has been removed, exposing some imperfections such as scratches on the front bumper cover, missing headlight washers, a discolored right rear stone guard, and a loose trim piece in front of the right rear wheel.
The suspension has been revised with Eibach lowering springs paired with Bilstein dampers to enhance handling. The 19″ Champion wheels are wrapped in Bridgestone Potenza tires sized 235/35 at the front and 305/30 at the rear. Stopping power is provided by multi-piston Porsche-branded brake calipers clamping down on cross-drilled and vented rotors at all four corners. It’s important to note that the power steering system is currently inoperative.
Inside the cabin, the black leather upholstery covers heated, power-adjustable front sport seats. The interior is further equipped with the Sport Chrono Package Plus, red seatbelts, a Bose sound system, remote six-disc CD changer, automatic climate control, Porsche Communication Management with navigation, and cruise control. Some wear is visible, including scratches on the backs of the front seats, with additional interior photos available in the gallery.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a classic Porsche instrument cluster featuring a central tachometer, a 200-mph speedometer, and gauges for oil temperature, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The digital odometer confirms the mileage and currently illuminated warning lights include the seatbelt warning and a check engine light related to the oxygen sensors.
The 4.0-liter engine build performed in 2024 involved significant work, including the retrofit of a 3.6-liter specification crankshaft, forged connecting rods, ported cylinder heads, coated bearings, and replacement of the oil cooler and piston rings, among other components. The clutch was also replaced in 2024. The exhaust system has been modified with a fabricated muffler delete to enhance sound and performance.
The Carfax report documents a front-end damage incident in October 2016 and a total loss declaration in October 2021 due to front and rear damage. The car was repaired following the seller’s purchase, including installation of the aftermarket front bumper cover. A right rear damage event in November 2023 affected the vehicle’s alignment. Two “Total Loss Vehicle Salvage Title/Certificated Issued” entries from 2022 appear on the report as well.
This Porsche 911 Carrera S combines performance upgrades, unique styling cues, and a manual transmission for an engaging driving experience—but prospective buyers should be aware of its salvage history and current mechanical and cosmetic conditions. The removed rear bumper and original taillights are included with the sale for added value.
