インタビューに応じるデフ陸上男子の高田裕士選手（右）と妻の千明選手。2006年に出会った当時は、こうして指文字を教わったという。
10月15日に開幕まで1カ月を迎える聴覚障害者の国際スポーツ大会「東京デフリンピック」。陸上男子で5大会連続の代表となった高田裕士選手（40歳、所属：トレンドマイクロ）は、妻の千明選手もパラリンピックの陸上女子視覚障害クラスに出場している。
