【エルサレム共同】パレスチナ自治区ガザのイスラム組織ハマスによって拉致された人質は、地下深くに掘られたトンネルや民家を転々としながら、長期の拘束生活を強いられていた。
13日、約2年ぶりに解放された20人の生存者は、こうした過酷な環境から救出されたことになる。
一方で、イスラエル軍による救出作戦では、自国領内で救出されたのは8人にとどまっている。
トランプ氏は今回の人質解放を受け、「戦争は終結に向かう」とコメントした。
