19日に開幕する体操の世界選手権の男子代表6選手が13日、開催地のジャカルタに向けて成田空港から出発しました。
パリ五輪で個人総合を含む3冠に輝いた岡慎之助選手（徳洲会）は今回が世界選手権初出場となります。追われる立場となりますが、岡選手は「重圧はない」と語りました。
出発前には岡慎之助選手、橋本大輝選手らが成田空港でポーズをとっていました。
