政府の地震調査委員会は9日、6月から続いている鹿児島県のトカラ列島での群発地震について議論しました。
平田直委員長（東京大学名誉教授）は会合後の記者会見で、9月に諏訪之瀬島付近での地震が増加したことを指摘し、「火山活動に関連している可能性がある」と述べました。
現在も詳しい分析が進められており、今後の地震や火山活動に注意が必要とされています。
