太平洋戦争終結直後、占領軍兵士を性接待するために設置された慰安施設に関する公文書が新潟県で見つかりました。
この公文書からは、慰安婦を募集する際に刺激的な広告やだます行為が横行していたことが確認されており、当時の実態が明らかになっています。
将兵の満足を目的として設けられたこれらの施設の実態についての記録は、戦後の歴史を考えるうえで重要な資料となっています。
