Atlee directs Rs. 150 crores Ching’s Desi Chinese ad starring Ranveer Singh, Sreeleela and Bobby Deol

In what could easily be one of the grandest advertising projects in India, filmmaker Atlee, known for his blockbuster hits like Jawan and Theri, has directed a Rs. 150 crores commercial for Ching’s Desi Chinese. The mega ad film stars Ranveer Singh, Sreeleela, and Bobby Deol in leading roles bringing together an electrifying mix of Bollywood’s most dynamic stars under Atlee’s high-octane direction. The upcoming campaign is said to be mounted on a cinematic scale rarely seen in the advertising space, complete with elaborate sets, extensive VFX, and a multi-location shoot schedule. The production reportedly aims to blend Atlee’s signature massy storytelling with the quirky, high-energy brand persona that Ching’s Desi Chinese is known for. According to an independent industry source, “The ad campaign for Ching’s Desi Chinese, featuring Ranveer Singh, Bobby Deol and Sreeleela directed by Atlee, is being made on a massive budget of around Rs. 150 crores. This alone makes it one of the biggest ad campaigns ever executed, featuring celebrated stars and a huge budget.”This marks Atlee’s first commercial project after the massive success of Jawan, which starred Shah Rukh Khan and became one of India’s highest-grossing films. His collaboration with Chings and Ranveer Singh who previously fronted the brand in a series of humorous and action-packed ads signals a fresh and ambitious phase for the food brand’s marketing. With the addition of Bobby Deol, currently riding high after his web show The Ba***ds of Bollywood, and Sreeleela, one of South cinema’s fastest-rising stars, the project has already generated massive curiosity. The extravagant campaign is expected to redefine how Indian brands approach advertising with cinema-scale storytelling meeting brand creativity. Also Read: CONFIRMED! Quantic Dream Developing ‘Competitive Multiplayer Experience’

Quantic Dream studio head David Cage in a blog post revealed the studio is developing a “competitive multiplayer experience.” This is just one of multiple projects the developer is currently working on, which includes the ongoing development for Star Wars: Eclipse. “For over 28 years, Quantic Dream has been pushing the boundaries of interactive storytelling. With award-winning titles like Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls, and Detroit: Become Human, more than 25 million players worldwide have shared the journeys of Ethan Mars, Jodie Holmes, Kara, Markus and Connor, with us,” said Cage. “Since 2018, we have entered a new phase of growth and innovation. We doubled the size of the team, bringing together talents from all over the world united by the same passion for creativity. We opened a new studio in Montreal, moved into new headquarters in Paris, built the next generation of our proprietary technology, and became our own publisher. “After years as a single-project studio, we also decided to take a new step. Multiple teams are fully dedicated to crafting the next generation of great games, including something very different, a competitive multiplayer experience, born from the same spirit of curiosity and creativity that has always defined us. “This new title may surprise our fans as it is very different from what we have done so far. But taking risks, challenging ourselves, exploring new ways of playing and telling stories, and attempting what seems impossible, has always been part of our DNA. “We also know how demanding it is to create something new. Earning the trust of players, standing out in such a competitive space, and introducing fresh concepts is incredibly challenging. And since we have no legacy in this genre, we know we have everything to prove which is why your support and feedback will be essential. Together, we believe we can create something truly unique. “Of course, development of Star Wars: Eclipse continues, and we are eager to share more with you in the future. “I want to take this opportunity to thank all our fans around the world for playing our games year after year, for their kind words whenever we meet, for their patience and encouragement. “This is the beginning of a new chapter for Quantic Dream. Thank you for being with us on this journey, we can’t wait to share what comes next.” A life-long and avid gamer, William D’Angelo was first introduced to VGChartz in 2007. familiarity [narrative]

I stepped onto a campus sidewalk, two days after the rush of move-in and still unsure how to find my way to V-Dub from my EmWool dorm, the Main Green a foreign field. I remember staring at your face, confused about why you were extending your arm forward to shake my hand, completely oblivious to the fact that I’d been texting you for a while. I remember not extending my hand, scowling at you until you said your name, then saying I’ll see you later and running away. I like the weather here, our eight-minute walk to Insomnia Cookies, where the lights are always on but the shop always closed when we go. I like the moonlit skies at night, though not so moonlit that you can’t see the stars. I like the winding paths, the drivers who pause for seven seconds just so you can cross the road. The corner shop we walked past and then walked back towards, where we bought waffles dressed in strawberry sauce that dripped down our fingertips; I like that shop, too. Can we go there every morning? Not on Saturdays and Sundays, though- that’s when I have my Andrews granola bowl, and end up with part of your burrito bowl. I know I never said thank you to you as many times as I should have, ran away from you without seeing if you followed-you did, though. I’ve been lying in my bed ever since, my right leg outstretched, left leg carefully folded underneath. Karma, I suppose. But I never wronged you, I wronged someone else. I know I should have said I’m sorry sooner, but I didn’t. So I’ll say it now, say it over here. I’m sorry. We all sit together in a circle on Prospect Terrace and sing “Iris” by The Goo Goo Dolls and I miss my high school friends. I give into the urge to call and tell them that I love them. But in that circle, I find myself smiling. I love all of you and I think you love me too. I’ll make more friends over the next four years, but I’ll keep all of you. Keep me too. Text me if you ever need anything, and I’ll be there the way you were there for me. If you walk to Insomnia again, I hope it’ll be with me. I’ve been told friendships can’t be forced, but these are some that I’ll always want to hold onto. Thirty days may be too few to start calling everything routine but it’s enough for me to know I don’t want it to end. Not now, not ever.
