1965 Ford Mustang Coupe A-Code 289
This 1965 Ford Mustang is an A-code 289 coupe that was owned between the early 1990s and late 2010s by a single family, who commissioned a restoration by Kansas Klassics in Wichita. Following completion of the restoration, the car was shown and driven approximately 1k miles. After changing hands, the car was involved in a flood and subsequently written off by an insurance company. The selling dealer purchased it after this event, and they performed fluid changes, removed and cleaned the carpeting, replaced the underlayment and starter, adjusted the brakes, and detailed the car. Finished in Silver Smoke Gray with a luxury blue and white interior, the car is powered by an A-code 289ci V8 linked to a three-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential, and it has front bucket seats, Rally Pac instruments, a retro-look radio, and air conditioning. This Mustang is now offered with a car cover and transferable New York registration.
