‘When will my kitty stop being evil?’: New cat owner adopts 3.5 month old cat who won’t stop destroying the home, internet chimes in on being patient with mischievous young kittens
Cats are known for many things; their stereotypes are vast and range from innocent purrs to the mischievous destruction of all the toilet paper you own. A cat’s temperament is famously capricious, so even if you think you have a princess or prince-type kitty who just likes to sit pretty, you’re likely mistaken!
Cats are inherently naughty and mischievous. There’s nothing they love more than tearing into a new bag of cat food you just bought or turning your toilet paper into confetti. With their inherent personality quirks out of the way, we can focus on the story at hand: a first-time cat owner’s struggle to understand his feisty, hyper, and undeniably energetic kitten.
This man had no idea what he signed up for when he adopted a young kitten. At just 3.5 months old, the kitten has absolutely no chill when it comes to playtime. This little kitty wants to play—and play, and play—which for cats often means destroying everything in sight.
