Bollywood actor Siddharth Sharma has officially taken legal action against the producers of the upcoming film **Soorya**, citing intentional breaches of contractual obligations. The film, which features Sunny Deol in the lead role, has found itself at the center of controversy after Sharma publicly shared details of his dispute with the production team. In his statement, he alleged that the producers—including Kamal Mukut, Soham Rockstar Entertainment, and Deepak Mukut—have continuously failed to comply with the contractual obligations specified in the artist agreement.
“I have issued a formal legal notice against the producers for intentional and constant breach of contractual obligations under the Artist Agreement for the Hindi film ‘Soorya,’” Siddharth Sharma wrote on Instagram. He tagged several key parties, including Zee Music Company and Zee Studios, in his post.
The notice references specific legal provisions under Sections 37, 39, 73, and 74 of the Indian Contract Act, 1872, signaling the possibility of formal legal proceedings against the producers for their alleged actions. Sharma’s statement further highlighted that these legal steps became necessary after repeated failures by the production house to address the concerns he raised.
Additionally, Sharma stated his intent to proceed with formal legal action if the producers do not take corrective measures promptly. His announcement has stirred speculation within the industry, especially considering the high-profile nature of **Soorya** due to Sunny Deol’s involvement and the film’s anticipated release under Zee Music Company and Zee Studios.
As of now, neither the producers nor other parties mentioned have issued a formal response to Siddharth Sharma’s legal notice or his allegations.
