“Me and Liv are gonna get married one day” – Liv Morgan’s stalker contacted WWE Hall of Famer for help
Former WWE Women’s Champion Liv Morgan recently faced a distressing situation involving a stalker. The 41-year-old Shawn Chan was arrested outside the WWE Performance Center in June 2025 after authorities found evidence linking him to attempts to contact Morgan. Surveillance footage revealed Chan trying to enter her home, and he was also found leaving a delusional handwritten note. During the investigation, law enforcement recovered a firearm, and prosecutors labeled Chan a flight risk.
Adding more context to the situation, WWE Hall of Famer D’Von Dudley shared an intriguing story on the “Duke Loves Rasslin” podcast. Dudley revealed that he once received a message from a fan who was aggressively seeking Liv Morgan’s contact information.
“This one guy hit me up on my Cameo. He basically was asking me, ‘Hey, Devon, can you help me meet Liv Morgan? I really want to meet Liv Morgan.’ I go, ‘Okay, number one, I don’t do that. You have to go through the proper personnel in WWE. But other than that, no, I cannot do that. I’m sorry,’” Dudley explained.
The fan’s tone quickly turned aggressive as he insisted, saying, “That’s f**ed up. You don’t care that me and Liv are gonna get married one day.” Dudley responded, “Bro, please tell me you’re joking.”
Further adding to the gravity of the situation, Dudley showed the fan’s picture to Liv Morgan, who immediately recognized him. “I showed the picture to Liv, and Liv was like, ‘Oh yeah, I know him. He’s been bothering me. Stalking me for a long time now,’” Dudley added.

Liv Morgan, a star of The Judgment Day faction, has been absent from WWE programming for several months due to a shoulder injury sustained during a match on the red brand. While there has been no official update on her recovery or return date, speculation has been building around a possible comeback at the upcoming Royal Rumble.
