Bhojpuri superstar and politician Pawan Singh has been making headlines since the Election Commission announced the dates for the Bihar Assembly Elections, but for all the wrong reasons.
On October 5, the very day the election dates were announced, Bhojpuri singer Pawan Singh’s wife, Jyoti Singh, suddenly grabbed media attention by creating a ruckus outside his residence. Jyoti accused Pawan of mental harassment and cheating, sparking a wave of dramatic reactions from both sides on social media platforms through stories, posts, and live streams.
### Pawan Singh Breaks Silence in Media Conference
In a recent development, Pawan Singh addressed the situation in a media conference. He clarified that this is a deeply personal family matter and revealed that a divorce case has been ongoing between them for several years. Pawan accused Jyoti of deliberately stirring controversy to gain media attention and further certain political agendas.
During his minutes-long press conference, Pawan expressed the emotional toll the situation has taken on him. He said,
“I am also a human being, I also get tired. The thing is, women get tears in their eyes on anything, and it’s visible to everyone, but no one notices the pain of a man. And neither can a man show his pain.”
He urged people to respect the privacy of such personal matters, stating,
“One more thing, people who are enjoying this matter between me and my wife, I just want to tell them that familiar things should only be discussed in a familiar space and not on camera.”
### Jyoti Singh Accused of Playing Politics
Pawan Singh also accused Jyoti Singh of playing politics against him. He revealed that the divorce case has been ongoing for 3 to 4 years and alleged that Jyoti is intentionally bringing these issues to the forefront right before the election period to disturb him and damage his reputation.
