Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road Player Recruitment Guide
Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road‘s 5. 400 player roster provides long-time fans with an amount of freedom never seen before when the subject is squad building. But that also gives room to a few questions. After all, how exactly can you recruit fan-favorites? And what about the players part of the story? Are they locked to the mode? For all looking to create their custom pairings and see what Beta, Haru (Harper), and Raika can do as a front three, here’s all you need to know about player recruitment in Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road. How To Get Players In Inazuma Eleven Victory Road You can get most players in Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road by performing summons after collecting their spirits. The spirits can be acquired as rewards by both winning matches and completing Chronicle mode battles. Your chances of getting higher-quality ones will also grow based on the level of the opposition, so make sure to challenge yourself if looking to score a Legendary or better. It is also possible to get spirits by exchanging items/players at the Spirit Market and performing pulls in Player Universe. The pulls consist of sets of 12 (each costing 5x Bond Stars) and are your best bet when looking for Hero variants. Spirits can also be used to ascend your players to higher rarities. Keep in mind that no character can be manually ascended to the Hero tier, with Legendary being the limit. All Hero Spirit Differences If you have either faced one or explored Player Universe, you might have noticed that you can get three different Hero variants (Magma, Metal, and Crystal) in Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road. The main difference between them, however, does not lie in their Special/Hyper Abilities or stats. Instead, it’s all about their possible Team Passive types, with each variant having access to one out of the following: Magma (or Fire): Tension or Rough Play Metal: Justice or Bond Crystal (or Pink): Counter or Breach Their chosen type then dictates which mechanic or playstyle your Hero’s extra passives will revolve around. You can check out a brief overview of each below, as well as see which specific effects your player got by heading to their stats screen or Abilearn Board. Tension (Represented by the star symbol): Offers passives that boost or revolve around Tension. Bond (Represented by the Heart symbol): Offers effects focused on boosting Bond Power acquisition or providing buffs based on your current total, such as Team Direct Shot +3. 2% when at 20%+ Bond Power. Rough Play (Represented by the Sword symbol): Offers effects that further reward sliding tackles and dash knockbacks. Justice (Represented by the Shield symbol): Its passives reward clean play by providing buffs until you perform fouls Breach (Represented by the Fanfare symbol): Offers passives that boost your team’s breach effect Counter (Represented by the Turning Arrow symbol): Offers passives that reward reclaiming possession How To Get Story Mode Spirits In Inazuma Eleven Victory Road You can get the spirits of all Story Mode players in Victory Road as rewards by winning matches featuring them both online and offline. Upon finishing the campaign and having your story inventory and player bank merge with your standard, they can also be acquired by pulling on Player Universe, with the Victoria constellation being the home to most of the cast. How To Recruit Players In Story Mode A feature only available after you reach Chapter 7, “Keshin In The Storm”, Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road‘s Story Mode allows you to freely recruit students across its open world areas by completing Bond Quests. The recruitable players change with the time of day and can be easily recognizable by the four-leaf clover symbol atop their heads. Upon meeting one, you can unlock their Bond Quest and complete the recruitment by doing the following: Talk to them twice in quick succession to learn their names. Give them their preferred gift Meet them in a specified location to unlock their Bond Quest Complete their quest (It usually requires finishing one Rumor/Case File, such as Cat in Negumo Street, and fulfilling one task) Talk to them again at their starting location and select Recruit to add them to your player bank The only exception to the rule is your avatar, who is immediately recruitable once the feature is introduced. If you are like me and maxed them out in Chronicle early on, though, be aware, as their level won’t change to accommodate your new squad.
