### How to Brew Aromatic Oils in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

To brew aromatic oils, you will need to use the alchemy bench located in the small room at the rear of the infirmary.

#### Getting the Recipe

First, you need to obtain the recipe. Head to the library and talk to Crispin. Trade him some mint and sage to get the recipe for aromatic oils. Crispin will recommend a book for you to read to learn the recipe. The recipe is listed under the name **”Essential Oils”** in the book.

#### Gathering Ingredients

Next, gather the necessary ingredients: chamomile, sage, and valerian. All three herbs can be found in the herb garden to the east of the infirmary.

#### Brewing the Oils

Once you have all the ingredients, return to the alchemical table and follow these steps carefully:

1. Open the alchemy book and navigate to the recipe for aromatic oils.
2. Hold **E** to prepare the ingredients, which places them in pouches on the shelf to your right-hand side.
3. Take the pot of oil on the left and pour it into the cauldron.
4. Add three handfuls of chamomile into the cauldron.
5. Lower the cauldron onto the flames and wait for it to boil.
6. As soon as it boils, turn the timer upside down. Let the sand flow through completely.
7. Repeat the boiling and timing process two more times, for a total of three times.
8. Raise the cauldron back up.
9. Take a handful of sage, place it in the mortar, and grind it with the pestle.
10. Add the ground sage to the cauldron.
11. Lower the cauldron, wait for it to boil, then turn the timer upside down again.
12. Raise the cauldron as soon as the sand empties.
13. Take a handful of valerian, grind it in the mortar, then add it to the cauldron.

If everything is done correctly, you will have successfully prepared your aromatic oils.

#### Important Tips

If something goes wrong during the process, Henry will usually provide feedback, such as boiling an ingredient too long or not long enough. Pay close attention to any hints he gives to ensure a successful brew.
