**DUSU Election Result 2025: ABVP Leads After Four Rounds of Counting**
The counting for the Delhi University Students’ Union (DUSU) Elections 2025 is underway, with the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) emerging as the frontrunner after four rounds. Aryan Maan of ABVP is currently leading the presidential race, ahead of NSUI’s Joslyn Nandita and AISA’s Anjali.
In the vice-presidential contest, Rahul Jhansla from NSUI remains in close contention. ABVP candidates Kunal Chaudhary and Deepika Jha are leading for the Secretary and Joint Secretary posts respectively. The counting process is expected to continue for 18 to 20 rounds before final results are announced later this evening.

After the fourth round of counting, the ABVP candidates have secured the following votes:
– President: 5,109 votes
– Vice President: 4,034 votes
– Secretary: 4,446 votes
– Joint Secretary: 3,775 votes
In comparison, NSUI candidates have polled:
– President: 2,099 votes
– Vice President: 4,794 votes
– Secretary: 2,695 votes
– Joint Secretary: 3,141 votes

### DUSU Election Result 2025: Round 3
The third round saw Aryan Maan (ABVP) maintain a commanding lead in the presidential race with 1,073 votes. Joslyn Nandita (NSUI) followed with 480 votes, while Anjali (SFI-AISA) polled 302 votes. Other candidates included Umangshi (209 votes), Divyanshi (45), Anujit (44), Abhishek (25), Rahul (33), and Yogesh (8). NOTA (None of the Above) secured 125 votes in this round.
The vice-presidential contest is highly competitive. Govind Tanwar (ABVP) received 954 votes, just ahead of Rahul Jhansla (NSUI) with 931 votes, and Sohan Kumar (AISA) with 212 votes.
For the Secretary’s position, ABVP’s Kunal Chaudhary leads with 1,123 votes, followed by NSUI’s Kabir with 466 votes. In the Joint Secretary race, ABVP’s Deepika Jha holds a slight edge with 767 votes over NSUI’s Lavkush, who has 733 votes.

In round two, the vote tallies stood as follows:
– **President**: Aryan Maan (ABVP) – 1,526 votes, Joslyn Nandita (NSUI) – 528 votes, Anjali (AISA) – 228 votes.
– **Vice President**: Govind Tanwar (ABVP) – 1,171 votes, Rahul Jhansla (NSUI) – 1,531 votes, Sohan Kumar (AISA) – 135 votes.
– **Secretary**: Kunal Chaudhary (ABVP) – 1,273 votes, Kabir (NSUI) – 908 votes, Abhinandan (AISA) – 480 votes.
– **Joint Secretary**: Deepika Jha (ABVP) – 1,122 votes, Lavkush (NSUI) – 1,076 votes, Abhishek (AISA) – 3 votes.
NOTA also received a notable share of votes: 203 for Vice-President, 333 for Secretary, and 307 for Joint Secretary.

### Chief Election Officer’s Statement
Chief Election Officer Prof. Raj Kishor Sharma told PTI:
> “Counting was scheduled for 8 am and we have started the process. We are opening the strong room in the presence of candidates and will then begin counting on the machines. A large number of staff has been deployed for the process. Counting will take around 18 to 20 rounds depending on the EVMs, after which the result will be declared. This year’s voter turnout was good compared to last year, with a 4 per cent increase.”
